Novel Approaches to Parallel Coordinates

We have some novel approaches to parallel coordinates plots in our R package, BigNGraphs (formerly called BDGraphs).

• Plots only "typical" lines, thus avoiding screen clutter and dealing with the "far-apart axes" problem.
• Cluster hunting.
• Outlier hunting.

Instructions for use:

• Download the library.
• Install, e.g. from a terminal window type

  R CMD INSTALL -l ~/R BDGraphs_0.5.0.tar.gz
  

  to install to your directory ~/R.

• Run R and type

  > library(BDGraphs)
  > ?freqparcoord
  

  and then run the examples.
