Installation:
It now installs quite easily. Change the location of perl as directed, add the /texinputs directory to TEXINPUTS:
setenv TEXINPUTS .:your_latex2html_directory_name/texinputs:
The final colon is VITAL!
Then run install-test. It will prompt you for, e.g., the value of LATEX2HTMLDIR.
Example of command line options:
-no_footnode -auto_prefix -split 0 -no_subdir -info 0 -no_navigation
This would mean all footnotes and sections are together in one file; the .gif files will have the source file as prefix; no new subdirectory will be created; and the annoying references to latex2html will not be put in.
