Where to Get It:

Here is a nearby mirror.

Installation:

It now installs quite easily. Change the location of perl as directed, add the /texinputs directory to TEXINPUTS:

   setenv TEXINPUTS .:your_latex2html_directory_name/texinputs:

The final colon is VITAL!

Then run install-test. It will prompt you for, e.g., the value of LATEX2HTMLDIR.

Example of command line options:

-no_footnode -auto_prefix -split 0 -no_subdir -info 0 -no_navigation

This would mean all footnotes and sections are together in one file; the .gif files will have the source file as prefix; no new subdirectory will be created; and the annoying references to latex2html will not be put in.
